I am an experienced singer in a variety of genres, and my professional expertise as a singing teacher is my passion, lifes work and professional interest.

My formal voice training began with Myra Lambert OA at the NSW Conservatorium of Music over twenty-five years ago. Since then I have studied with many eminent singing teachers, and coaches in  many musical genres.

I have continued to perform but also indulge my fascination with all aspects of singing performance, repertoire and voice teaching through courses and conferences here and overseas. I am also a member of ANATS and the MTA and attend these conferences regularly.

Recent examples include the 'National Conference of Voice Teachers' in the Blue Mountains in 2018, the workshops presented by ANATS with David Sisco the 'International Art Song Festival' at WAAPA in Perth, featuring Graham Johnson and Deborah Birnham and NLP training in Sydney since 2015. I will attend Advanced Teacher training with Jeremy Fischer and Gillyanne Kayes in Melbourne in April 2019 and May 2020. This training includes all aspects of the singing teachers studio including performance and technical. Focusing on all genres of music from Classical styles to Jazz, Music Theatre and Contemporary Commercial Music.

I have an a lot of singing experience in  Concert, Recital, Opera, Music Theatre and in ensembles of all descriptions from Carols to Classical works with Orchestras, in Jazz and other more contemporary styles.

Jazz performance examples include the Waterfront restaurant at the Rocks, and Banjo Patersons in Parramatta, as well as short musical pieces for TV and Radio. I've been involved in Church music and paid soprano soloist roles for several Christian Scientist Churches since 1991.

Other performances include as Principal Soprano in a variety Operatic, Musical and Oratorio and Concert performances, for Hunter Opera, Pacific Opera, Opera Ensemble and Opera Australia.

I have performed Recitals in Australia for Schubertiades, and in other French, German, Italian, Russian English and American repertoire for Music Clubs, Concerts and Festivals including in the USA as Young Artist at the Aspen Music Festival. I have recorded and broadcast recital repertoire for the ABC and 2MBS FM on several occasions.

A love of recital repertoire led me to a Masters in Music on Scholarship from the University of Newcastle, Conservatorium of Music. I also hold a Bachelor of Music and Education an LTCL in Singing Performance and I am a Certified Master Practitioner and Coach in NLP with pending ICF acceditation. In March 2020 I complete NLP Trainers and Consultant Level. Other examples of training includes languages, Feldenkrais  and Alexander Technique, Stage Craft and In 2006 I completed certification in Tomatis with Audio Vocal training course.
